Gary is the founder of Joyal Capital Management, LLC and managing member of its subsidiary holdings. JCM has specialized for more than 25 years in sophisticated asset protection and estate planning for high net worth individuals, family-owned businesses and closely held corporations. Gary has provided the thought leadership necessary to create JCM Franchise Development, JCM Finance, JCM Opportunity Fund and JCM Trust Services all of which represent ancillary offerings for the JCM Private Client Group. Gary specializes in mergers and acquisitions in the QSR space, leveraged buyouts, buy- and sell-side consulting, divestitures, loan workouts, credit lending and real estate investment opportunities in the purpose-built student housing space. His efforts through these specialties have yielded many successes for the fund investments, sell-side deal closings and the placement of significant credit for buy-side transactions. Gary also founded Joyal Capital Management Foundation, Inc., the philanthropic arm of JCM, which has helped thousands of children nationally through its “$100 For 100” interactive giving program.
Gary continues to grow the Joyal Capital Management brand with a clear focus on top-tier deliverables through diversification and an exceptional family office experience.

Richard has more than 30 years of financial and corporate operational experience. Upon joining the firm, he created the Private Client Group division for JCM where he leads the practice that provides exceptional deliverables for the unique needs of high net worth individuals, and their families.
Prior to joining Joyal Capital Management, Richard was a senior member of the operations team at Commonwealth Energy Systems, now part of Eversource, and co-founded telecommunications company, Seacoast Tower Development, LLC.
Richard holds a Master's degree in Business from Western New England College, and Bachelor's and Associate's degrees in Engineering from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Rob leads the firm's life insurance processing division and business operations, as well as the development of advanced planning strategies, case development, business development and implementation of new insurance industry standards.
He began his career with BISYS Insurance Services, and as a Senior Underwriter, he provided expertise in life insurance marketing and medical insurance underwriting to the company's agents. Rob was the Relationship Manager to some of the most successful insurance agents serving the New England area.
Rob earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University.
Jeff is involved in all facets of the firm's franchise development division, with a particular focus on restaurant mergers & acquisitions, business valuations and debt placement. He works closely with affiliated advisory relationships throughout the transaction process and is a primary contact for potential buyers, coordinating the flow of information from initial bid, to transaction close. Prior to joining the firm, Jeff was an Audit Analyst with Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., compiling and recording audit packages for external auditors and financial reporting purposes.
Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.
From client management to managing the Joyal Capital Foundation, Renee Joyal executes on all aspects of JCM day-to-day operations. Renee serves as the Director of JCM Foundation, playing a critical role on the $100 FOR 100 Foundation, special events and operations, as well as managing the Marina at American Wharf and other various acquisitions.
Prior to joining the firm, Renee served as a Program Manager at EMC Corporation reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, Commercial Sales. In this role, she supported and managed cross-functional teams of subject matter experts who plan and implement internal business projects from the design process through completion. Renee was responsible for developing the go-to-market strategy and sales training materials for all sales representatives across the United States.
Renee earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Framingham State University.

Becky joined Joyal Capital Management in May of 2007. She is responsible for overseeing the firm's accounts payable and receivable functions, as well as the day to day finance transactions for the firm. Becky manages and forecasts organizational cash flow and prepares monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for management’s review.
In addition to her financial responsibilities, Becky also oversees all state licensing, company appointments and continuing education requirements for all agents of the firm. Becky is also an integral part of the firm's real estate operation, managing collections, expenses, projections and tenancy in concert with the property management team for the firm’s residential and commercial property holdings.
Becky holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Boston College.
Jack, as Director of the Private Client Group Southeast, works with potential clients in the areas of financing and estate planning. Prior to joining JCM, Jack was deeply involved in the Dunkin’ Donuts system for twenty-two years, seventeen of them at the Dunkin’ Donuts Southeast DCP. Beginning in customer service, Jack moved to accounting where he later became Controller, and ultimately, in his last six years at the DCP, he served as Vice President/General Manager, reporting to the Board of Directors. Jack's responsibilities included ensuring timely deliveries across eight states, working closely with franchisees throughout the southeast, maintaining a profitable bottom line and encouraging steady growth.
Most recently, Jack held a Controller position for an Atlanta meat processing and food distributor with annual revenues of $35 million.
Jack holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
Deb has overall responsibility for new estate planning client engagements. She also leads estate analysis, asset re-titling and building client medical files for the underwriting approval process. She also leads the protocol for managing patient medical records securely and confidentially as mandated at the firm. Deb began her tenure with the firm as an Executive Administrator, facilitating important administrative duties while managing underwriting processes. Prior to joining the firm, Deb was the Office Manager and Assistant to Accounts Receivable for Mija Industries.
Deb holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration as well as an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Salem State College.
Stefanie joined Joyal Capital Management in our Boston office in February 2015. Since then, she has relocated to our Boca Raton office to support the dynamic needs of our clients. Stefanie leads the firm’s Private Client Group and is charged with providing the best-in-class service to our clients and their specific needs of sophisticated estate and financial planning. In her capacity, she is involved in all aspects of personal and estate analysis – collaborating with our subsidiaries such as JCM Franchise and Development and JCM Finance, and her focus is on building personal, face-to-face relationships.
Originally from Germany, Stefanie made her way to JCM after working as an Administrative and Marketing Assistant. Her background focus is in client relations and foreign business communication.
Stefanie graduated from the University of Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts in English, Summa Cum Laude, and she is a certified foreign language correspondence clerk in English, German, and French.

Patty conducts personal and estate analysis, development of sales illustrations, and management of title and legal documentation. She also prepares diligence reports, annual reviews and executes on client requests.
Prior to joining the firm, Patty rose to the position of Branch Manager at Plymouth Five Cents Savings Bank, overseeing a $92 million retail branch and managing staff, client service, budgeting and the branch's sales program. She began her career working at the Plymouth Registry of Deeds-Land Court, assisting customers and sourcing relevant real estate documentation.
Patty holds a certificate in Business Education from Chandler School for Women.
Scott is a Technical Analyst supporting the Executive team at Joyal Capital Management. He reports directly to the Global Brand Ambassador in Florida and he will be responsible for exceptional back office deliverables for our Private Client Group members.
Prior to joining the firm, Scott worked as a Funding Advisor with a private finance company in Boca Raton, Florida. There, he specialized in small and mid-sized business financing opportunities while also providing the macro analysis necessary to support the daily operations for these businesses.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Florida State University.
Client Relations Specialist
Gretchen manages ongoing and new relationships with clients who are members of the firms Private Client Group. Her charge is to ensure the unique needs of these clients are met with exceptional deliverables while maintaining a client centric focus on maximizing wealth preservation.
Gretchen started her career in the financial services industry as a Product Analyst for Fidelity Management Trust Company, marketing international products to institutional pension clients, consultants, and prospects. She left to help with marketing efforts for her family’s diagnostic imaging business, led a five person MBA team to analyze the business as a live case study, recommended the business be sold, and aided the new senior team with the transition post acquisition. Following the liquidity event, Gretchen entered the Private Wealth Management space by joining the Institute for Private Investors, enlisting consultants and professional advisors to help her family address challenges associated with the shift from owning/managing an operating business to managing liquid wealth. Gretchen served as the Vice President, Insights & Connections, a strategic marketing initiative, to provide family offices and wealthy families with insights and best practices, referrals to industry professionals, connections to a peer network and access to industry associations while at Fidelity Family Offices Services. Most recently, she served as a Wealth Advisor for Heritage Financial Services before joining JCM.
Gretchen earned a Masters of Business Administration from Babson’s F.W. Olin School of Business, a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of New Hampshire and a Private Wealth Management Certificate through Wharton’s Executive Education Program at The University of Pennsylvania.
Christine manages ongoing and new relationships with clients who are members of the firms Private Client Group. She is also responsible for determining Financing options and sell-side analytics specific to the Franchise QSR space. Her charge is to insure the unique needs of these clients and their businesses ,are met with exceptional deliverables while maintaining a client centric focus on maximizing wealth preservation.
In addition, she assists the firm’s Franchise Development Director with the financial evaluation of restaurant mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to joining the firm, Christine developed and implemented end-to-end accounting procedures for an independently owned Dunkin’ franchise network. There, she handled all financial preparation, reporting, forecasting, and analysis for cash flow and investment decisions
Christine holds a CPA license, as well as a Master of Science degree in Management and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance, both with accounting concentrations.
Jason joined Joyal Capital Management in March of 2006, tending to the needs of the company’s various real estate properties. He served as the project manager for the extensive renovations at The Marina at American Wharf, which opened in Spring of 2012. He is a licensed Construction Supervisor with a construction business background.
Prior to JCM, Jason ran his own home improvement business. A native of the Marshfield/Duxbury area of Massachusetts, he has lived in Carver, MA since 1985.
Jason holds a degree from the New England Institute of Technology in Rhode Island.

Diana joined Joyal Capital Management in June of 2015. Her role is to support the CEO by prioritizing his time and overseeing day-to-day duties. She manages every aspect of the CEO’s professional and personal schedules, maintains the corporate calendar, arranges meetings and special events, and coordinates travel. Diana also acts as liaison and point of contact between the CEO and vendors, service providers, staff and joint venture partners. Diana ensures the highest level of services to JCM staff, family, friends and guests.
Prior to joining JCM, Diana was the Executive Assistant to the President of a life insurance brokerage firm and premium finance company. She has also served as an Executive/Personal Assistant to high profile families in the Palm Beach area.
Matthew is involved in the firm’s Franchise Development and Finance divisions as a Junior Analyst. Matthew’s primary responsibilities include the review and analysis of due diligence materials for both internal presentation to firm executives as well as external presentation to prospective purchasers, financial institutions and legal counsel. He maintains communication with all parties as each relationship develops to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.
Prior to joining the firm, Matthew was a student at the University of Rhode Island. While in school Matthew worked remotely for CharterCare Medical Associates as a medical data abstraction specialist.
A recent graduate, Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Rhode Island.
Lauren joined Joyal Capital Management in 2022. After graduating Providence College in 2013, she spent several years working in Operations for a startup company. Lauren oversaw a large team located in South Florida, reporting directly to the COO on strategy and growth for the company. Her experience is largely based in Technology and Finance. After transitioning back to Massachusetts, Lauren was engaged to work for the firm in Corporate Finance. Reporting directly to Becky Greene, Lauren is responsible for supporting all the Corporate Finance functions including the firm's accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable, cost control and managing all vendor relationships for multiple entities within Joyal Capital Management portfolio.
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management with a minor in Accounting from Providence College.
